Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to use the Howard Hall website, whatever their abilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

• Clear, structured headings and a “skip to content” link.
• Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus outline.
• Descriptive alternative text on photographs.
• Labelled, accessible forms.
• A responsive layout that works on phones, tablets and computers.
• Colour combinations chosen for readable contrast.

Known limitations

Some downloadable PDF documents may not yet be fully accessible, and a small amount of content is still being added. We are working to address these.

The venue itself

Howard Hall is fully accessible and all on one level, with step-free access throughout, accessible toilets and baby-changing facilities, and on-site parking.
